Learn-N-Burns Planned for March 2026

Purdue Extension and partners are offering two Learn-N-Burn Workshops in March 2026. These workshops are designed to introduce landowners and land managers to prescribed fire. There will be both classroom and field activities, including a live fire demonstration (weather permitting). The live-fire demonstration may count toward Indiana CPBM burn experience.

  • Learn-N-Burn Woodland Prescribed Fire Workshop – March 21st, SIPAC, Dubois County
  • Learn-N-Burn Grassland Prescribed Fire Workshop – March 28th, Parke County

Register for the Grassland Learn-N-Burn by calling or emailing the Vermillion County Extension office at 765-492-5330 or cox119@purdue.edu. Cash or check is accepted at the event.
