Prescribed Fire Workshops Planned for March 2026

Purdue Extension, the Indiana DNR Fish and Wildlife and partners are offering four Prescribed Burn Workshops in March 2026. These workshops are designed to introduce landowners and land managers to prescribed fire. Activities include a live fire demonstration (weather permitting). The live-fire demonstration may count toward Indiana CPBM burn experience.

  • Prescribed Fire Workshop – March 25th, Auburn, IN, Dekalb County
  • Prescribed Fire Workshop – March 25th, Scottsburg, IN Scott County
  • Learn-N-Burn Grassland Prescribed Fire Workshop – March 28th, Parke County
